Could not be a truer statement... because that's what Alan Hancock does best. He makes people laugh with as few lines as possible.

It's not so much a laugh a minute, more like a laugh every twenty seconds, some even quicker than that.

Heavy weight Alan has been a comedian for over 10 years, before he worked for the Gas Board, so he had a good grounding for his quick fire routines.

Just try informing an irate husband who has just seen his wife disappear through the kitchen roof with breakfast in a frying pan, that you have a solution to his problem ....
......."Well couldn't you make a start on the cornflakes sir, and we'll have her off the chimney stack before you can say .......... don't you just love being in control!!"

An All Round Sportsman

All round sports expert Alan, says his nineteen stones comes in handy, hitting sixes, running marathons, nodding in the corners or saving those tricky penalty shots, his greatest memory is scoring the winning goal at for Portsmouth Football Club at Wembley, he'll never forget the bump on the head that he received when he woke up on the bedroom floor.

Joking aside Alans extra pounds add great distance to his long drives on the golf course. An accomplished social golfer, he plays of a respectable 14 handicap and can often be seen raising money for worthy causes with his pals in the Comedians Golfing Society.

A very comfortable comedian with an easy style who adapts his act and material to almost any situation. Theater shows, Late Night Cabaret, Corporate Days and especially After Dinner Entertainment.
