Mario Tribute to the "King" Elvis Presley

Born and raised in North London.  Followed by various business interests and a three year acting and musical theatre course studying at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in S.W.London, which has lead to a successful singing, song-writing and acting career.

Mario specialises in a tribute to Elvis Presley, amazing audiences at the Jailhouse Rock group of restaurants throughout London and Essex where he has performed as a regular performer and singer. A fantastic entertainer, with a very strong- trained voice, Mario has over 300 Elvis songs in his repertoire and is well-known for his likeness to the King of Rock & Roll.

Mario has appeared in various theatre productions as well as having made appearances in various films throughout the U.K with artistes such as Greta Scaachi, Isabella Rossalini, Armand Assante and Eric Roberts to name a few… Commercial advertising work includes being chosen to front a major campaign launch of the new Mazda Rocksta jeep for press, TV, and all media interest, as well as having appeared in various television commercials.

Mario has also appeared on the cover and in various magazines in the U.K, with writers marvelling at having witnessed his show.

In 1997, Mario and a business partner opened “Central Park”, an exciting 200 seat Live Entertainment Restaurant situated in a popular English seaside resort. It was there that Mario really worked hard to perfect his act as he appeared nightly in cabaret as Elvis Presley as well as singing songs from other various artistes. Mario was also fortunate enough to appear alongside a host of other top professional entertainers from the entertainment and music industry, together with managing all aspects of this busy and successful restaurant.

In 1999 Mario decided that the time was right to follow his heart and decided to once again concentrate solely on entertaining as opposed to running a business. He sold his share in the business and started touring the throughout the U.K and also abroad with his show.

At a recent publicised “Elvis” memorabilia store opening in London, Mario was fortunate to meet Elvis Presley’s first cousin “Donna Presley”. Donna was so taken by Mario’s likeness in attitude and charisma and vocally (after having heard a C.D of his) that after she returned to the States they kept in touch and Donna has offered to officially “endorse” Mario as the only Elvis tribute artist she has ever endorsed in the world!!!

This endorsement has given Mario a lot of pride and gratification at finally having the acknowledgement he deserves for his shows.

Mario’s show has taken him all over the world and has enabled him to share with his audiences the warmth, vocal ability, charm, wit, and closeness likened to his childhood idol Elvis Presley.
