Mike Nelson from Granada TV’s “Stars in Their Eyes”

Mike has over 20 years in the entertainment business: 10 years as lead singer of 2 comedy showgroups and as a solo guitar vocalist for a further 10 years.

He branched out as a solo act knowing that this would more lucrative financially and with the added attraction of becoming a “Bryan Ferry” Lookalike / Soundalike, thanks to his appearance on ITV’s “Stars in Their Eyes”

His appearance on the show has resulted in bookings up and down the country, both at home and abroad where he has performed in hotels, restaurants and clubs.  Recent home performances have included “The Hilton Hotel”, Glasgow, “The Arts Theatre”, Belfast, “The Piccadilly Hotel”, Manchester, “The Roof Gardens”, Kensington London as well as various “Butlins” holiday centres on special cabaret evenings.  Most recent overseas work has been performing in hotels / nightclubs and restaurants in Marbella as well as “Quality Hotels”, Kristian Sands, Norway

Mike has his own 600 watt PA system if required and his music ranges from the 50’s - 90’s, with first class backing DAT or MiniDisc.  Complementing this highly professional act is Mikes ability to communicate with his audience on all levels ensure that the audience truly feels part of the show.
