Phil Lowen

 

Phil Lowen is zany, energetic and visual. A superb vocal-impressionist with strong voice and guitar playing. Like so many entertainers, Phil started his career as a Bluecoat at Pontins in the early 1980's.

His first breakthrough was as a front man for Tom Foolery - one of the top comedy show bands in the UK. For six successful years, they topped the bill at major venues at home and abroad.
The summer of 1989 saw the start of his solo career in a very successful season in Jersey which was followed by a return visit with his own award winning variety show.

Following this he starred in the Hollywood Legend Show by Nick Thomas. Phil made his television debut in "Who Do You Do?" in 1995 for Central Television and Sky. As a result he was offered the lead role in the pantomime "Jack and the Beanstalk" for Christmas 1995.
His next foray into television was an appearance on Joe Pasquale's Christmas Show in 1996 followed by appearances in The Britass Empire and The Bill.
